Italian 18th century commode with possibly some 19th century elements. Beautifully carved drawer and door fronts bracketed with columns, it is walnut which has developed wonderful patina. It has wonderful storage capacity including 3 drawers in the frieze above the doors for storage of candles, cutlery, placemats, etc.
