Original 10" x 14" albumin photo mounted on original 2 tone card stock
titled "Fountain Savanah Ga., photo from nature by G.N. Barnard". This photo is
from the book "Photographic Views of Sherman's Campaign" published in 1866.
George Barnard was the official photographer sent by the U.S.Army to record
General Sherman's march to the sea, and published these photos in a bound book
in 1866. The entire volume of photos can be seen on the University of Georgia
Hargrett Library website. Now in a modern frame.
